Donatas Kazlauskas

Donatas Kazlauskas is a Lithuania international midfielder who plays on the left and prefers his right foot. Born in Kretinga on 31 March 1994, he entered professional football with Atlantas Klaipėda. His breakthrough came in 2014, when he was named Lithuania’s Best Young Footballer after scoring 12 A Lyga goals and supplying five assists. Kazlauskas subsequently moved abroad to Lechia Gdańsk, but returned to Lithuania and continued his career with Atlantas and FK Trakai. In 2018, he scored nine goals in 13 matches for Trakai and was selected for the A Lyga Team of the Year. He made his Lithuania debut in 2014 and scored his first international goal against Serbia in Euro 2020 qualifying in October 2019. After later spells including FA Šiauliai, Kazlauskas joined Hegelmann Litauen, where his versatility remains useful across the left flank and wider attacking roles.
