Davíð Ingvarsson

Davíð Ingvarsson is an Icelandic defender who developed at Breidablik and has remained associated with the Kópavogur club. He progressed into Breidablik’s senior setup in late 2016 before spending part of 2018 on loan at Haukar. Returning that summer, Ingvarsson established himself on the left side and helped Breidablik win the Besta deildin title in 2022. He also contributed to the club’s 2023 Super Cup success. In early 2024, he moved to Denmark with Kolding IF, making 11 appearances before returning to Breidablik in July. Primarily a left-back, Davíð Ingvarsson has also been used higher as a left midfielder or winger, offering overlapping runs and a route to progress attacks. He has represented Iceland at under-21 level and later featured for Breidablik in the 2025 UEFA Conference League.
