Kelechi Daniel Ihendu
Kelechi Daniel Ihendu is a Nigerian defender born on 29 September 2005. Standing 193 centimetres tall, he provides a sizeable presence in central defensive areas, especially when contesting aerial balls and protecting the box. Ihendu developed in German youth football before joining Werder Bremen II in 2023, continuing his progression through reserve football. He moved to FC Zurich in January 2026, taking the next step into senior football in Switzerland. At FC Zurich, Ihendu has been deployed as a centre-back, using his strength, reach and positioning to make clearances and compete in defensive duels.
