Dean Bradley Henderson

Dean Henderson directs his back line, claims high balls at set pieces, and closes down attackers in one-on-ones. He joined Manchester United’s academy in 2011 after developing at Carlisle United. Shrewsbury marked Henderson’s senior breakthrough. Loans at Stockport County and Grimsby Town provided early senior experience. He then established himself at Sheffield United, recording 21 Championship clean sheets and making his Premier League debut. At Crystal Palace, Henderson’s voice organises the defence and gives clear instructions during set pieces. His quick distribution can launch counters, including the halfway-line throw that helped create Luke Shaw’s 2021 goal against Manchester City. In the 2025 FA Cup final, Henderson saved a penalty and kept a clean sheet in Palace’s victory.
