Doğucan Haspolat

Doğucan Haspolat is a Turkish midfielder born in Rotterdam on 11 February 2000. He developed in the Excelsior Rotterdam academy before making his senior debut for the club in the Eredivisie in August 2016. That appearance against Feyenoord made Haspolat the first player born in the 2000s to play in the Dutch top flight. In January 2020, he moved to Kasımpaşa in Türkiye, where he continued his development as a central midfielder. Haspolat joined Trabzonspor in July 2022 and was part of the squad that won the Turkish Super Cup that year. After a limited spell in Trabzon, he transferred to Belgian club KVC Westerlo in September 2023. At Westerlo, Doğucan Haspolat has continued as a holding midfielder, contributing to build-up play and covering space in front of the defence.
