Dávid Attila Gróf

Dávid Attila Gróf is a Hungarian goalkeeper born in Budapest on 17 April 1989. Standing 1.93 metres tall, he began his senior development with Hibernian’s youth system after moving to Scotland in 2006 and made his professional debut in a 2008 Scottish League Cup match. He later played for Notts County, Tamworth and Mansfield Town in England, before trialling with Clermont and continuing with Goslarer SC and Berliner AK. Gróf returned to Hungary in 2016, joining Budapest Honvéd and helping the club win the 2016–17 Nemzeti Bajnokság I title. In 2019 he moved to Ferencváros, winning the 2019–20 league championship. A loan spell at Debreceni VSC brought the 2020–21 Nemzeti Bajnokság II title, and he later had a spell with Levadiakos before joining Diósgyőri VTK. Gróf’s career has taken him through several European football systems.
