Dominik Greif

Dominik Greif is a Slovakian goalkeeper born in Bratislava in 1997, standing 1.97 metres tall. He developed at ŠK Vrakuňa Bratislava before joining Slovan Bratislava, where he made his professional breakthrough in May 2016. After becoming the club’s first-choice goalkeeper, Greif helped Slovan win three consecutive Slovak league titles from 2019 to 2021, along with four Slovak Cups. In July 2021, he moved to Mallorca, but a muscle injury, wisdom-tooth infection and persistent back pain kept him from training for almost a year. Greif later regained an important role in Mallorca’s 2023–24 Copa del Rey campaign, saving a penalty in normal time and another in the shootout against Real Sociedad during the semi-final. He subsequently established himself as a regular in La Liga before moving to Olympique Lyonnais in August 2025. A Slovakia international, Greif combines a commanding aerial presence and close-range reflexes with distribution that can support his team’s buildup.
