Dennis Gjengaar

Dennis Gjengaar is a Norwegian midfielder who developed in Horten with Ørn Horten. He became the club’s youngest first-team debutant at 15 years and 68 days in May 2019. In July 2020, Gjengaar moved to Odds BK, where he played for Odd 2 before advancing to the senior side. He announced himself in the Eliteserien on 10 September 2022, scoring twice against Sandefjord on his full top-flight debut. His performances in Norway led to a move to the New York Red Bulls in February 2024, where his speed and pressing have supported a direct, transition-focused role. Gjengaar has also been listed with New York Red Bulls II and can operate wide or as a more advanced midfielder. Internationally, he progressed through Norway’s youth teams from under-15 to under-21 level, making his U21 debut in a 4–0 win over Wales in June 2025.
