Dmitri Girs

Dmitri Girs is a Belarusian midfielder born in Chashniki on 11 June 1997. He developed at RCOP-BGU Minsk from 2013 to 2016 before progressing into senior football with Energetik-BGU. During his long spell there, Girs established himself in Belarusian league football and gained experience on loan with Granit Mikashevichi in 2019. He later joined Slutsk, where his work across the right side added defensive cover and forward running from midfield. A subsequent period at Vitebsk further reinforced his role as a versatile wide player, with the ability to operate at right-back or on the left when required. Girs is now registered with Neman, continuing a career built on positional flexibility, ball progression and disciplined defensive work.
