David Datro Fofana

David Datro Fofana is an Ivorian centre-forward born in Ouragahio on 22 December 2002. He developed in Côte d’Ivoire before moving to Norway, where he joined Molde in February 2021. Fofana established himself during the 2022 season, scoring 15 league goals in 24 appearances as Molde won a domestic double. He also announced himself in European competition by scoring against Hoffenheim after coming off the bench. Chelsea signed Fofana in January 2023, but limited opportunities at Stamford Bridge led to loan moves. He spent part of the 2023–24 campaign with Union Berlin before joining Burnley, where he scored four Premier League goals in 15 appearances, including two against Fulham. David Datro Fofana has since continued developing through further temporary spells, aiming to turn his pace, strength and direct running into greater consistency as a mobile forward.
