Daniel Fritz Eid
Daniel Fritz Eid is a Norwegian defender from Ulsteinvik, born on 14 October 1998. He developed in the IL Hødd youth system and made his senior debut for the club in the 2017 second-division opener against Vard Haugesund. After establishing himself at Hødd, Eid moved to Sogndal in 2020 and scored on his debut in a 4–1 win over Åsane. His performances there brought a nomination for the 1. divisjon Breakthrough of the Year award. In January 2022, he joined Sweden’s IFK Norrköping, where he became a regular in the Allsvenskan. Eid returned to Norway with Fredrikstad in July 2024 and has continued as a right-sided defensive option. During the 2025 season, he made 28 Eliteserien appearances, recording one goal and three assists, and later featured in Europa League and Conference League qualifying.
