Djibril Diarra

Djibril Diarra is a French defender, primarily a centre-back, born in Paris on 14 December 1991. Standing 1.85 metres, he developed through French football’s competitive lower divisions, with spells at Paris FC and Sète. Diarra later played for Hyères FC, where his 2022–23 Coupe de France campaign included more than 200 minutes and a goal. He then joined Chambly, featuring during the 2023–24 and 2024–25 seasons, including cup matches. In July 2025, Diarra moved to Châteauroux on a contract through June 2026. At Châteauroux, he has been used as a central defensive anchor, contributing to aerial contests and short build-up passing from the back. Diarra’s career reflects a steady progression from physical defender to experienced organiser in the French National-level game.
