Demetris Demetriou

Demetris Demetriou is a Cypriot football goalkeeper born on 15 January 1999. He developed at Anorthosis and broke into senior football during the 2018/19 season, making 21 appearances for the club. In July 2019, Demetriou moved to Apollon Limassol, where he continued his development and established himself in the senior squad. His Apollon spell brought major honours, as he helped the club win the Cypriot First Division title in 2021/22 and the Super Cup in 2022. Demetriou made his Cyprus debut on 13 October 2020 against Azerbaijan, keeping a clean sheet in a 0–0 Nations League draw. He later represented Cyprus in World Cup and European Championship qualification. In July 2025, Demetriou joined AEK Larnaca, adding experience and goalkeeping depth to the club’s squad.
