Daniel James Davies
Daniel James Davies is a Welsh centre-back who has built his career in domestic football. He began senior football with Prestatyn Town and was part of the squad that won the Welsh Cup in 2012/13. Davies later joined Connah's Quay Nomads, helping the club win the Cymru Premier title in 2020/21. In July 2021, he transferred to The New Saints, where he has remained a defensive figure. With The New Saints, Davies won three successive league titles from 2021/22 through 2023/24, along with Welsh Cup and League Cup honours. Primarily a centre-back, he has also covered both full-back positions and represented his clubs in Champions League, Europa League and Conference League qualifying. His career reflects sustained success in Wales, combining defensive experience with regular involvement in domestic and European competition.
