Daniel Danu

Daniel Danu is a Moldovan midfielder born in Bălți on 26 August 2002. He developed at Zaria Bălți before progressing into senior football with FC Bălți in 2020. Between 2020 and 2024, Danu established himself in the Moldovan top flight, combining midfield work with creative output. After moving to Chindia Târgoviște in Romania in August 2024, he continued his development in Liga II and added goals from midfield. A later spell with CSM Olimpia Satu Mare preceded his return to Moldova with Sheriff Tiraspol in February 2026. Internationally, Danu represented Moldova at under-19 and under-21 level before making his senior debut against Gibraltar in November 2024. Primarily an attacking midfielder, Daniel Danu has also been used deeper, where his passing, ball retention and positional flexibility support buildup and transitions.
