Dominic Corness
Dominic Corness is an English midfielder who developed through Liverpool’s academy after joining the club at five. He progressed through the age groups at Kirkby and captained Liverpool U21s during the 2022/23 season. Corness also made an unofficial first-team appearance in the 2022 Dubai Super Cup, featuring in matches against Lyon and AC Milan. In July 2023, he moved to Yverdon Sport in Switzerland, where he made 21 appearances while operating mainly in defensive or central midfield. A short-term spell with Gillingham in early 2025 gave him experience of League Two football. After leaving Liverpool, Corness joined The New Saints permanently in July 2025 and began playing in UEFA Champions League qualifying. At TNS, he has been used as a technically sound central midfielder, contributing through passing, positioning, set-piece delivery and ball-winning.
