Davide Calabria

Davide Calabria is an Italian football defender born in Brescia on 6 December 1996. He joined AC Milan’s youth academy at the age of ten and initially developed as a midfielder before moving into the defensive line in 2014. With Milan’s youth side, he won the Viareggio Cup, then made his Serie A debut against Atalanta in May 2015 after entering the senior setup. Calabria established himself primarily as a right-back, combining tackling and positioning with the ability to support build-up play. During Stefano Pioli’s tenure, he became an important part of Milan’s team and helped the club win the 2021–22 Serie A title. He was appointed Milan captain in 2022 and also showed versatility by covering other defensive or midfield roles when required. After leaving AC Milan, Calabria spent time with Bologna before continuing his career at Panathinaikos.
