David Babunski
David Babunski is a North Macedonian midfielder born in Skopje on 1 March 1994. He developed at Barcelona’s La Masia, joining the academy in 2006 and progressing to Barcelona B, where he made his professional debut in 2013. After leaving Barcelona in 2016, Babunski moved to FK Crvena Zvezda and was part of the squad that won the Serbian SuperLiga in his first season. He then continued his career in Japan with Yokohama F. Marinos and Omiya Ardija, gaining experience in the J1 League. Returning to Europe, he played for FC Botosani and later represented Debreceni VSC and Mezokovesd-zsory in Hungary. Babunski also featured for North Macedonia’s youth and senior teams, including the U21 side that qualified for the 2017 European Championship. He is currently associated with Vardar Skopje, completing a return to his hometown.
