Daniel Aghbalyan

Daniel Aghbalyan is an Armenian midfielder born on 12 March 1999 in Stary Oskol, Russia. He developed with Metallurg-Oskol before playing amateur football for Metallurg-OEMK and FC Olimpik Novaya Usman in Russia. A loan to FC Ani Yerevan preceded his move into Armenia’s professional game with Pyunik. He made his professional debut against Urartu on 9 June 2020, then continued his development with Pyunik-2. Aghbalyan later spent four seasons at BKMA Yerevan, where he recorded 123 appearances and 12 goals before returning to Pyunik in July 2025. He featured for Pyunik in UEFA Conference League qualifying ties against Tre Fiori and Győri ETO. In June 2025, he made his senior Armenia debut in a 2–2 draw with Montenegro, while he is currently listed with Alashkert.
