Cristhian Andrey Mosquera Ibargüen

Cristhian Mosquera is a Spanish centre-back born in Alicante on 27 June 2004. He developed locally with San Blas Cañavate, SCD Carolinas and Hércules before joining Valencia’s academy in 2016. Mosquera progressed to Valencia Mestalla, debuting for the reserve side in September 2021, and made his senior Valencia debut against Atlético Baleares in the Copa del Rey that December. Under Rubén Baraja, he became a regular during the 2023–24 campaign and was reported to have made 45 consecutive La Liga appearances. In 2024–25, Mosquera started 37 of Valencia’s 38 league matches and scored his first professional goal against Leganés in February 2025. Arsenal signed the centre-back from Valencia in July 2025, adding a 191-centimetre defender who can also cover at right-back. He has represented Spain at youth level, including the under-16s and under-23s.
