César Tárrega Requeni

César Tárrega is a Spanish defender born in Valencia on 26 February 2002. Standing 1.94 metres tall, he developed within Valencia’s system and made his senior debut in a 3–0 Copa del Rey win over CD Utrillas in December 2021. He later made his La Liga debut as a substitute in Valencia’s 3–0 victory against Atlético de Madrid in September 2023. In January 2024, Tárrega joined Real Valladolid on loan for regular playing time, making 16 appearances and scoring his first professional goal against FC Cartagena. His contribution helped Valladolid secure promotion before he returned to Valencia for the 2024–25 season. Tárrega established himself as a regular centre-back, using his height in aerial contests and favouring decisive clearances. He also represented Spain at under-21 level in 2025, featuring at the European Championship and scoring during the tournament.
