Celso Sidnei Ribeiro Leitão
Celso Sidney is a Portuguese forward born in Mirandela on 18 May 2001. He developed with GD Cachão before progressing through Chaves and Boavista, and also spent the 2018–19 season in West Ham United’s academy. In September 2019, Celso Sidney joined hometown club SC Mirandela and made his Campeonato de Portugal debut against União da Madeira. He subsequently represented Leça FC, Merelinense and Amora FC in Portugal’s lower divisions. With Lusitânia in 2024–25, he recorded seven goals in 30 appearances. In June 2025, the 1.87-metre attacker signed for Cherno More Varna as a free agent, opening a top-flight chapter in Bulgaria. Celso Sidney has also appeared in UEFA Conference League qualifying, and his centre-forward role can include leading the line and linking play.
