Carlos Domínguez Cáceres

Carlos Domínguez is a Spanish centre-back born in Vigo on 11 February 2001. He developed at Celta Vigo’s A Madroa academy after joining the club at under-12 level. Domínguez reached Celta’s first team during a defensive injury crisis in May 2021. He made his LaLiga debut on 9 May 2021 in a 4–2 victory over Villarreal. Soon afterwards, he was part of the Celta squad that won at Barcelona’s Camp Nou. Celta extended his contract in January 2022 and again in August 2025, with the latter agreement running through June 2028. Standing 1.87 metres tall, Domínguez is primarily a centre-back whose supported strengths include composed distribution, defensive reading and the ability to cover at left-back; he is currently listed with Oviedo.
