Cameron Mitchel Puertas Castro

Cameron Puertas is a Spanish central midfielder born in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 18 August 1998. He developed in Swiss football before progressing with Lausanne-Sport, helping the club win promotion from the Challenge League in 2019/20. Puertas established himself in the Swiss top flight before joining Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise in January 2022. At Union, he initially made an impact from the bench, then became a regular and creative focal point during the 2023/24 campaign. He contributed 11 goals and 17 assists in the Belgian Pro League and helped the club win the Belgian Cup and Belgian Super Cup. In August 2024, Puertas moved to Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadisiyah, where he continued to provide goals and assists. His energetic central-midfield game combines progressive passing, set-piece delivery, pressing and defensive work.
