Celil Yüksel

Celil Yüksel is a Turkish midfielder born in Samsun on 1 January 1998. He began his development with Ayazağaspor and Sarıyer before joining the Galatasaray academy in 2012. Yüksel signed his first professional contract with Galatasaray in October 2017 and made his senior debut in a 3–0 win over Kayserispor in November 2018. In January 2020, he joined Adanaspor on loan and later completed a permanent move after establishing himself in the team. He moved to Samsunspor in 2022 and helped the club win the 2022–23 TFF 1. Lig championship, securing promotion to the Süper Lig. Yüksel then spent the 2023–24 season on loan at Göztepe before returning to Samsunspor. A compact central or defensive midfielder, Celil Yüksel combines ball-winning, tackling and positional coverage with simple distribution, while his recent involvement has extended to European and domestic cup competition.
