Christopher Grant Wood

Christopher Grant Wood, the target forward for Nottingham Forest, attacks space and times his runs to threaten the back line. Wood rose to prominence with Leeds United, winning the Championship Golden Boot in 2016/17. Wood then moved to Newcastle United. At Nottingham Forest he became the club's all-time Premier League goalscorer. As a New Zealand international, Wood has 88 caps. He anchors late runs and aerial duels, finishing moves once in the final third. Wood links play with minimal distribution, but he pins centre-backs and attacks the back post.
