Christopher Trimmel

Christopher Trimmel attacks space down the right, driving crosses and runs beyond the line to threaten Union Berlin’s back line. He is captain and a winger who feeds wide angles with direct crosses. Trimmel shapes Union’s attacking tempo. He burst onto the scene at Rapid Wien with a six-minute hat-trick in 2009. Trimmel then captained Union Berlin to promotion in 2018/19. In 2023 he became the oldest Austrian UEFA Champions League debutant. By 2025 he had surpassed 350 appearances for Union Berlin, the club's all-time most-capped player. In January 2026 Trimmel extended his Union Berlin deal through June 2027.
