Corentin Tolisso
Corentin Tolisso is a French midfielder born in Tarare on 3 August 1994. He developed at Stade Amplepuisien and FC Pays de l’Arbresle before joining the Lyon academy in 2007, where he evolved from forward into a versatile midfielder. Tolisso made his professional debut for Lyon in 2013, establishing himself through his energy, passing and late runs into the area. In 2017, he moved to Bayern München, spending five seasons in Germany and winning five Bundesliga titles, two DFB-Pokals and the 2019–20 UEFA Champions League. His progress was interrupted by injuries, although he remained part of Bayern’s successful period. At international level, Tolisso represented France at the 2018 World Cup and appeared as a substitute in the final victory over Croatia. He returned to Lyon in 2022, bringing experience to the midfield and continuing his career with his boyhood club.
