Cheick Oumar Souaré

Cheick Oumar Souaré is a French midfielder who developed through the academies of FC Martigues, FC Istres and Marseille. He joined Marseille’s academy in 2015 and signed his first professional contract with the club in 2020. Souaré made his senior debut for Marseille against Lens in February 2021, appearing as a substitute. He then continued his development in the Czech Republic with second-tier MFK Vyškov, where his performances helped attract interest from Viktoria Plzeň. Plzeň initially took him on loan in January 2024 before making the move permanent later that year.
