Craig Alexander Sibbald

Craig Alexander Sibbald is a Scottish midfielder born in Falkirk on 18 May 1995. He developed at Falkirk and made his senior debut as a teenager, establishing himself initially as an attacking midfielder. Sibbald helped Falkirk win the Scottish Challenge Cup in 2011–12, while also representing Scotland at under-16, under-17 and under-19 levels. In 2018, he moved to Livingston, where his duties broadened into a more balanced central-midfield role during four years with the club. Sibbald joined Dundee United in 2022 and later helped the team win the Scottish Championship in 2023–24. His progression has taken him from creative playmaker to deeper midfielder, contributing to build-up play, possession retention and defensive coverage. At 1.70 metres, Sibbald’s low centre of gravity supports his work in tight areas and his ability to control midfield tempo.
