Chadi Riad Dnanou

Chadi Riad Dnanou is a Moroccan centre-back born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, on 17 June 2003. He developed in Mallorca before joining Barcelona in 2019, entering the club’s pathway toward senior football. A loan to Sabadell in 2020 gave Riad a professional debut in Spain’s Segunda División. After returning to Barcelona, he established himself with Barça Atlètic, making 37 appearances and scoring three goals during the 2022–23 campaign. Riad also made his Barcelona first-team debut against Osasuna on 8 November 2022. He moved to Real Betis on loan in 2023, later earning a permanent transfer to Crystal Palace in summer 2024. Internationally, Riad represents Morocco, helped win the 2023 Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations, and made his senior debut in January 2024. At 186 centimetres, Riad offers a strong central defensive presence and has progressed from Spanish youth football to Palace’s squad.
