Christopher Téa Operi

Christopher Téa Operi is an Ivorian defender born in Abidjan on 29 April 1997. He developed in France, spending his early youth years with FO Plaisir before joining Caen’s academy in 2012 and later its reserve side. Operi moved to Châteauroux in 2017, making his professional debut that September and establishing himself over four seasons in Ligue 2. In 2021, he joined Gent, where he was part of the squad that won the Belgian Cup. After returning to France with Le Havre, Operi helped the club win the 2022–23 Ligue 2 title and reach Ligue 1. He contributed three league goals and four assists in the 2023–24 top-flight campaign. Côte d’Ivoire handed him his senior debut against Gabon in June 2024, and he moved to Başakşehir in January 2025.
