Carlos Andrei Mora Montoya

Carlos Andrei Mora Montoya is a Costa Rican forward born in San José on 18 March 2001. He developed at Liga Deportiva Alajuelense, where academy mentorship helped shape his wide attacking game. Mora made his senior debut for Alajuelense on 16 February 2020, coming off the bench in a 1–0 win over Santos de Guápiles. He scored his first professional goal against Cibao FC in the 2020 CONCACAF League and was part of the Alajuelense squad that won that competition and the 2020/21 Apertura Primera División title. After four seasons in Costa Rica, Mora moved to Romanian club Universitatea Craiova in July 2024. Initially used mainly as a right winger or midfielder, Carlos Mora has also taken on right-back and wing-back duties in Europe, combining forward running with defensive work. He represents Costa Rica and remains linked with both the national team and Craiova.
