Callum William McCowatt
Callum William McCowatt is a New Zealand winger born in Auckland on 30 April 1999. He developed in Auckland, joining the Olé Football Academy in 2015 before progressing through Western Suburbs and Auckland City. At Auckland City, he made an immediate senior impact during the 2017–18 season and scored the winning goal in the ISPS Handa Premiership Grand Final. He later represented Eastern Suburbs, scoring a hat-trick against Team Wellington in the 2018–19 final. McCowatt moved to Wellington Phoenix in 2019, then transferred to Danish club FC Helsingør in 2020. After three seasons in Helsingør, he joined Silkeborg IF in 2023 and established himself in the Superliga as a versatile attacking player. He has represented New Zealand at youth level, the Tokyo Olympics and senior level, scoring on his senior debut against Ireland.
