Caolan Marron

Caolan Marron is a Northern Irish football defender born on 4 July 1998. He developed with Glenavon FC, making his senior breakthrough there and representing the club in UEFA Europa League qualifying, including a tie against Molde in 2018. Marron moved to Glentoran in January 2020, continuing his progression at one of Northern Ireland’s leading clubs. During his time with Glentoran, he featured in UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying and gained further experience in continental competition. He has also represented Northern Ireland at under-19 and under-21 level, reflecting his involvement in the international pathway. As a centre-back, Marron’s career has been built through regular top-flight football, European exposure and a steady transition from promising young defender to an experienced domestic player.
