Connor Malley

Connor Malley is an English midfielder born in Newcastle upon Tyne on 20 March 2000. He developed in Sunderland’s academy before joining Middlesbrough in 2015, progressing through the club’s youth teams and signing his first professional contract in 2019. Malley began senior football on loan at Ayr United in 2020, scoring on his debut against Greenock Morton, before spending time with Carlisle United. He made his Middlesbrough first-team debut as a substitute against Rotherham United in April 2021 and was named man of the match. In 2022, Malley played for Gateshead, scoring three times in 10 matches as the club won the National League North title. After a brief spell with Rochdale, he moved to Ireland, joining Dundalk in 2023 and later Sligo Rovers. Malley joined Shamrock Rovers in 2025, initially on loan, and remains part of the club’s midfield.
