Čebrails Makreckis

Čebrails Makreckis is a Latvian midfielder born in Aachen on 10 May 2000. He developed in Germany, spending time in Bayer Leverkusen’s youth system and later playing for SV Bergisch Gladbach 09. Makreckis began his senior career with Bonner SC in 2019 before joining Borussia Dortmund II in 2020, where he made 27 appearances. After a spell with Viktoria 1889 Berlin, he moved to Bulgaria and represented Pirin Blagoevgrad during the 2022–23 season. In July 2023, Makreckis joined Ferencváros on a free transfer, adapting from midfield and wing roles to right-back and right-sided midfield duties while helping the club win the 2023–24 Hungarian league title. He is listed with Qarabag, adding a further chapter to a career shaped by positional versatility across Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary and Azerbaijan.
