Christian Frederick Bayoi Makoun Reyes

Christian Frederick Bayoi Makoun Reyes is a Venezuelan centre-back born in Valencia on 5 March 2000. He developed at Zamora FC, joining the academy at 10 before making his professional debut in the 2016 Copa Venezuela. Makoun progressed into the first team and represented Venezuela at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup, helping the side reach the final. In July 2018, he moved to Juventus on loan and played for the club’s Under-23 and Primavera teams during the 2018–19 season. He then continued his career in MLS, signing for Inter Miami before later representing Charlotte FC and New England Revolution. Makoun returned to Europe with Anorthosis Famagusta in 2024 and joined Levski Sofia later that year. At 1.85 metres, he is primarily a centre-back who can also operate at left-back or in defensive midfield, while his Venezuela involvement has extended to senior World Cup qualifying.
