Claudy M'Buyi

Claudy M'Buyi is a French forward born in Kinshasa on June 3, 1999. He developed in Laval's academy and entered its senior setup in 2017, although he made no league appearance for the club. He moved to Jura Sud in 2019, beginning a more active spell in the French lower divisions. In 2022, M'Buyi joined Villefranche, where he recorded 47 appearances and seven goals across the 2022–24 period. He subsequently continued his rise in Austria before joining Rapid Vienna in 2025. M'Buyi made an immediate European impact, scoring twice in the Conference League play-offs to help Rapid reach the group stage. Standing 1.84 metres, he offers a central target for link play, penalty-area movement and pressing. His progression from a non-playing academy prospect at Laval to a European contributor reflects steady, hard-earned development.
