Castello Junior Lukeba

Castello Junior Lukeba is a French centre-back born in Lyon on December 17, 2002. He joined Olympique Lyonnais's academy in 2011, developed through its youth ranks, and progressed into the senior side. Lukeba made his professional debut against Brest in August 2021, then established himself in Lyon's first team during the 2021–22 season. As a left-footed defender, he can build play with accurate passing, step forward to intercept, and use his recovery pace when defending open spaces. In August 2023, Lukeba transferred to RB Leipzig, where he continued his development in the Bundesliga as a centre-back. He represented France at youth level, made his senior debut against Scotland in October 2023, and helped the French squad win a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Lukeba remains with Leipzig and is listed with France U23, linking club progress to international involvement.
