Callum Joseph Lang
Callum Lang attacks space from the right for Portsmouth, checks short then spins in behind, and finishes moves with quick bursts to the back post. Lang made his professional debut with Wigan Athletic in the EFL Cup in August 2017 and later earned an EFL Young Player of the Month nod on loan at Morecambe in December 2017. Lang then scored a decisive FA Cup winner for Oldham Athletic against Fulham in January 2019, marking a notable cup moment. Lang became a key contributor for Wigan Athletic during the 2021-22 season, helping secure the League One title with prolific goal involvement. Lang moved to Portsmouth in January 2024 and helped the club to the 2023-24 League One championship, a milestone in his league-winning run. At Portsmouth, Lang presses high, runs beyond the line, and links play with one-touch layoffs to sustain attacks.
