Christopher Jullien
Christopher Jullien is a French centre-back born in Lagny-sur-Marne on March 22, 1993. He developed with US Torcy before joining the AJ Auxerre academy in 2005, making his professional debut for Auxerre in Ligue 2 in 2012. In 2013, Jullien moved to SC Freiburg and later returned to France, where his performances with Toulouse established him in Ligue 1. Celtic signed the 1.96-metre defender in 2019, and he scored the winning goal against Rangers in that season’s Scottish League Cup Final. Jullien also scored against Lazio and helped Celtic win two Premiership titles, two League Cups and a Scottish Cup. A serious knee injury suffered during a goal-line clearance in December 2020 kept him out for 409 days. He joined Montpellier in 2022, continuing his career as an experienced central defender.
