Clayton Green

Clayton Green is a Welsh midfielder whose career has unfolded largely in the Cymru Premier. He began his senior development with Carmarthen Town, making appearances for the club between 2014 and 2018. In August 2018, Green moved to Barry Town United, where he established himself as a regular and featured in the club’s 2019–20 UEFA Europa League qualifying campaign. During his Barry spell, he was also used in a more advanced midfield role and contributed goals from late runs into the penalty area. Green later represented Pontypridd United, continuing to influence matches from midfield during the 2022–23 season. He subsequently joined Penybont in July 2024, with his role described as increasingly central and disciplined. Structured squad records now list Green with Haverfordwest County AFC, adding another Cymru Premier chapter to the career of a versatile domestic midfielder.
