Connor Lambert Goldson

Connor Lambert Goldson is an English centre-back from Wolverhampton, born in 1992. He developed at Wolverhampton Wanderers before joining Shrewsbury Town’s academy at 14 and signing his first professional contract in 2010. A loan spell with Cheltenham Town in 2013 helped his progression, and he became a key Shrewsbury player, captaining the side to promotion in 2014–15 while earning PFA League Two Team of the Year recognition. Goldson joined Brighton & Hove Albion in 2015 and returned to competitive football after preventative surgery for a heart defect, making his Premier League debut in December 2017. In 2018, he moved to Rangers, where his positioning, aerial defending and diagonal distribution made him a regular organiser of the back line. He helped Rangers win the 2020–21 Scottish Premiership and later added the Scottish Cup and League Cup, while reaching the 2022 Europa League final. Goldson joined Aris Limassol in 2024.
