Carlos Emiro Garcés Torres

Carlos Emiro Garcés Torres is a Colombian midfielder born on 11 October 2001 in López de Micay. He began his professional career with Deportivo Pereira in 2021, developing into an important member of the side. Garcés helped Pereira win the 2022 Clausura Primera A title, the first league championship in the club’s history. In 2023, he featured in the club’s Copa Libertadores campaign, including four knockout-stage starts as Pereira reached the quarter-finals. He also spent part of 2023 on loan with Portugal’s Portimonense, making three appearances for its under-23 team. In April 2024, Garcés joined Los Angeles Galaxy on loan with a purchase option, and he later became a permanent member of the MLS club. He was part of the Galaxy squad that won the 2024 MLS Cup and attended a Colombia training camp in October 2022.
