Christopher Gallagher
Christopher Gallagher is a Northern Irish defensive midfielder born in Belfast on 30 March 1999. He developed in the Linfield academy before moving to Shrewsbury Town in England in 2015, where he also gained loan experience with Stalybridge Celtic and Stourbridge. Gallagher represented Northern Ireland through Under-21 level, collecting eight youth caps according to the supplied record. He returned home in September 2018 to join Glentoran, making 92 appearances across three seasons and scoring against Cliftonville in November 2019. In August 2021, he moved to Cliftonville, where he featured 39 times in the 2022/23 league campaign. Gallagher joined Larne in January 2024 and has since been involved in domestic and European competition. At Larne, he provides midfield protection, recycles possession and supports pressing while offering positional discipline in a defensive role.
