Christopher Stephen Forrester

Christopher Stephen Forrester is an Irish midfielder from Dublin, born in 1992. He developed through Smithfield, Bohemians and Belvedere, helping Belvedere win the FAI Under-17 Cup in 2010. After breaking into Bohemians’ senior side in 2011, Forrester joined St Patrick’s Athletic in 2012 and helped the club win the 2013 Premier Division title and 2014 FAI Cup. He moved to Peterborough United in 2015, where his composure in midfield earned recognition and he became club captain in 2016. A 2018 move to Aberdeen brought a shorter spell before he returned to St Patrick’s Athletic in 2019. Since then, Forrester has adapted to the League of Ireland’s physical demands by moving from a more flair-oriented wide role into central midfield, where he recycles possession, controls tempo and contributes defensively. He scored in the 2021 FAI Cup final, adding a decisive moment to his continuing Richmond Park career.
