Cristian Omar Espinoza

Cristian Omar Espinoza is an Argentine forward, born in Buenos Aires on 3 April 1995. He developed in Huracán’s youth system and made his professional debut for the club in 2013, helping it earn promotion to Argentina’s Primera División in 2014. His performances also brought Argentina Under-20 involvement, including the team’s 2015 South American Championship triumph, when he led the tournament with five assists. In 2016, Espinoza joined Villarreal and subsequently spent time on loan with Deportivo Alavés and Real Valladolid before returning to Argentina with Boca Juniors. He won the 2017–18 Liga Profesional with Boca and played in the 2018 Copa Libertadores. Espinoza moved to the San Jose Earthquakes on loan in 2019, later making the transfer permanent, and became their all-time assist leader while setting a 122-match consecutive appearance record. He is now with Nashville SC, bringing wide creativity and crossing ability to his forward play.
