Christopher James Durkin
Christopher James Durkin is an American midfielder known for his work as a defensive anchor. He developed with the Richmond Kickers and D.C. United academies before signing for D.C. United as a Homegrown Player in June 2016. Durkin progressed into senior MLS football with D.C. United and was selected for the 2018 MLS 22 Under 22 list. In 2019, he moved to Belgian club St. Truiden, where he gained experience in European football and played in both holding-midfield and deeper roles. He returned to D.C. United in 2022, bringing added experience to his former club. In December 2023, Durkin joined St. Louis City, where he remains part of the squad. He also represented the United States at the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup and 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup, starting matches in both tournaments.
