Colin Maurice Coosemans

Colin Maurice Coosemans is a Belgian goalkeeper born in Gent on August 3, 1992. He developed at Club Brugge after starting with Telstar Melle and VSV Gent, and made his professional debut for Club Brugge in September 2010. Seeking regular football, Coosemans moved through SK Beveren and KV Mechelen, establishing himself in Belgian football before returning to his birthplace with Gent in 2018. After three seasons with limited playing time, he joined Anderlecht in 2021. Initially a reserve goalkeeper, he remained with the club while Hendrik Van Crombrugge, Bart Verbruggen and Kasper Schmeichel occupied the starting role at different times. He became Anderlecht’s number one in 2024, later receiving the club’s Player of the Year award and Belgium’s Goalkeeper of the Year honour in 2026. Coosemans continues to bring reflexes, experience and leadership to Anderlecht.
